Attendees who came out to the 2014 Dakota Garden Expo were part of the biggest event in the history of the show! Over 6,000 people attended and nearly 2,000 pounds of food was collected for the Hunger Free ND Garden Project. The NDSU Extension Service gave away 3,000 packets of free seeds and 200 Black Currant trees to lucky guests. Over 100 local businesses were represented for the record-setting event.

Educators from NDSU hosted a number of seminars on a variety of topics ranging from tree planting to ornamental grasses. Even the kids were kept busy with face-painting and interactive games!

James Fugleberg of Bismarck and Darlene Roppel of Mandan were the lucky winners of a Dixon D149P21 walk-behind mower (valued at $350) and a Primo Kamado Charcoal Smoker Grill (valued at $1075), respectively.

Thanks to all who came out to the 2014 Dakota Garden Expo - we're already planning on making 2015 even bigger!
