Now it's Minnesota Senator Al Franken being accused of inappropriate "groping" of a woman.

Yahoo! News reports that the senator has acknowledged the accusation as true and has apologized.

Radio host and model Leeann Tweeden wrote in a blog this week that Mr. that Franken “mashed his lips against mine and aggressively stuck his tongue in my mouth” during a rehearsal for a skit they were to perform for U.S. troops in Afghanistan in 2006.

“I felt disgusted and violated,” she added.

Mr. Franken also reportedly posed a photo of himself with his hands over Ms. Tweeden’s chest as she slept on the flight home.

The Franken incident comes as politicians on both sides are debating how to deal with the recent accusations of sexual misconduct against Alabama senatorial candidate Roy Moore.

Mr. Franken apology reads in part, “I certainly don’t remember the rehearsal for the skit in the same way, but I send my sincerest apologies to Leeann”...as to the photo, it was clearly intended to be funny but wasn’t. I shouldn’t have done it.”
