Allergies Bad This Year? Here’s the List of the Worst Allergies by County in Every State

Seems like this year, allergies are the worst than any other year previously. I had to go see my doctor twice for severe allergies, so I found this story to be interesting. By state, the county with the worst allergies.

I hardly ever go to my family doctor  specifically for allergies, but this year was a rarity. I had the severe sniffles and sore throat and I know many others who suffered the same issues this year. Every year, there is a segment of the population that live on allergy medicines just go get through the early spring and summer months. It's the time of year where everything is blooming and growing. You have planting season and plowing. It is all these things that effect your sinuses, because of all of the 'stuff' in the air. Plus this year, to the North of Bismarck, we had the smoke from the wildfires in Canada. Indeed, this year was difficult to get through if you have sinus and allergy issues.

24/7 Wall St. did a survey in every state to find where the counties with the worst allergies. You can read more on the methodology here.  Basically, they researchers looked at the county with the most 'worst air quality days' per year for every county in every state.

And those living with asthma complicates this issue. There is an estimated 50 million people living in the country with nose allergy issues.

Burleigh County was announced to be the worst county for allergies in the Peace Garden State.  Burleigh has a population of close to 100,000 and 1239 children living with asthma and more the 80% of the population of the county living in urban areas.
