This is good news for Bismarck. American Airlines will be adding another daily flight to Dallas (DFW). American Airlines has been in Bismarck for a couple of years now. Since the addition of their daily service to the Dallas hub, it has offered another connection option plus the prices are appealing when comparison with United and Delta airlines.

The new flight will depart at 6:45 a.m. and arrive in Dallas by 10 a.m. The start date of the additional service will be December 20th. This option will allow passengers a morning and afternoon option non-stop flight to Dallas.

The American Airline option is accommodating and cheaper compared with prices from Delta and United airlines.  When I travel home to Louisiana, the price used to vary from $450 to $600, and the connections would include Denver or Chicago, often with layovers from 3-5 hours at these hubs.

With American, in a total of 6 hours flight time, I can leave Bismarck to Dallas and Dallas to Lafayette, LA. Departing Bismarck at 645 a.m. and arrive in Lafayette, LA at 1:49 p.m at a round trip price of $350 departing in January, 2019. There is a 2 hours layover in Dallas.

American Airlines also has a 3:45 p.m. option to Dallas from Bismarck.
