The Anaheim Ducks called up goalie Ryan Faragher, making him the first former Bismarck Bobcats player to ever make it to the NHL.

According to BismarckBobcats.com, Faragher had a strong finish with the AHL's Norfolk Admirals in the month of March, going 3-2-1 with a 1.79 goals against average and .933 save percentage. This strong finish is what led the Ducks to bring Faragher up to the professional ranks.

Faragher spent two seasons with the Bobcats, winning two Central Cups and a Robertson Cup. He then spent three seasons at St. Cloud State.

The Ducks swept the Winnipeg Jets in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. They'll next face the Calgary Flames.

Faragher was one of eight players from the Norfolk Admirals that the Ducks called up over the weekend, according to their official website.
