It's been quite some time, six years to be exact, since drivers in Bismarck were paying this little for a gallon of gas.

According to Valley News Live, the average price for a gallon of gas in Bismarck is currently $1.92. It has not been that low since the average price was $1.88 back in March of 2009.

Unfortunately, though, Bismarck drivers are still paying more than drivers in other parts of the state. In Fargo, for example, the average price for a gallon of gas is currently $1.88. The average across the state of North Dakota, according to AAA, is $2.08.

The average price for a gallon of gas in the United States currently sits at $2.04, but AAA expects that number to continue to drop through Christmas.

So, be prepared to keep paying under $2 a gallon for the foreseeable future.
