The Bismarck Bobcats began the pre-season this week with a loss and a win, in that order.

Tuesday the two teams remained scoreless deep into the second period, until Minot was able to find the back of the net with 5:32 left to go.

The Minotauros added two more goals in the third period, courtesy of defenseman Cody Enns and forward Spencer Zweiner.

The Bobcats managed to get one goal on the board before the end of regulation, a Luke Millen rebound, but it wasn't enough to beat the Minotauros on their home ice.

Wednesday night it was round two, this time on the Bobcats home ice. Minot got on the scoreboard early, but Tristan Ashbrook and Austin Junger went runner-runner to put the Cats ahead 2-1 after one.

Junger came through with a redirect, followed by a Mari snipe--with Minot getting one back late--posting the Cats to a 4-2 lead at the forty minute mark.

No scoring in the third, as the Bobcat forecheck held and controled the clock to earn the 'Cats a 4-2 win!
