Students from across the country participated in a national walk-out from school in support and solidarity for the shooting victims from Florida.

KFYR-TV is reporting Bismarck High School students stood in solidarity to show support for the victims at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla. The shooting took place exactly one month ago from today, March 14th.

The students from Bismarck High put thought into their protest. They placed 17 carnations for every victim from the school in Florida and laid an 18th flower to represent the shootings at the Pulse Nightclub and the shootings in Las Vegas.

The walkout was nationwide and even took place in front of the White House.

It was a very interesting day, as many people supported the protest, and some took to social media to protest, the protest.  According to CNN at Wilson Preparatory Academy in Wilson, North Carolina, a school of 700 students, only one student walked out to protest. Plus, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (R) says he thinks the National School Walkout was "shameful".
