Bismarck Hosts THE NATION’S LARGEST SOFTBALL TOURNEY This Weekend

Here it is again! The McQuade's Softball Tournament otherwise known as Tournament Weekend. As with any large city attraction, hotel rooms are priced at a premium and if you do not have accommodations, as of press time, Bismarck and Mandan still have rooms available at several hotels. Plus the camp grounds are at 80% occupancy.

Every year Bismarck-Mandan plays host to the largest non-profit, one weekend slowpitch softball tournament. You name it, we have it in town this weekend, the event brings together players, families and fans from all over the country.

One concern is the weather. Here in North Dakota, the average high temperature for this time of year is 77 degrees and a shower could happen at anytime during the summer, and expect at least 16 hours of daylight. For this weekend, according to The National Weather Service in Bismarck -

Friday- Light Showers, Cloudy skies 80/66, Saturday-Sunny 78/61 and Sunday- Sunny 80/60. Keep in mind the weather can change very quick in Bismarck.
