Bismarck-Mandan Area Outdoor Skating Rinks to Open for Winter Season

Several local outdoor rinks are opening to the public today and will be open throughout the winter season.

The following rinks will be opening today in Bismarck: Jaycee Park's hockey and public recreational skating rinks, North Central Park, Municipal Ballpark hockey rink, and Tatley-Eagles Park for hockey. Warming houses at the rinks will be open most winter days from 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The warming houses at the Bismarck rinks will also be open Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day, but closed Christmas Day.

In Mandan, Bordon Harbor rink at 3805 Sandpiper Trail and K.C. Park outdoor rink at 801 Third Ave. N.E. will open on Friday. Both facilities do not have warming houses. Also opening on Friday, the Mandan Parks and Recreation Department will open the Legion Park warming house at 1111 10th Ave. S.W.
