Bismarck Police responded to reports of gunfire at 2:17am on Tuesday (9/13) morning.

Police responded to the 1400 block of North 22nd street after there were reports of gun fire. While police were on their way to the scene, they were informed that a man was being transported to the hospital due to gunshot wounds.

The victim was a 21 year old male.

The condition of the male was not immediately reported though police say they are interviewing the victim along with other witnesses.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE 12:45pm: The Bismarck Police say they are searching for Benjamin Isaiah Williams in relation to the Tuesday morning shooting. Williams is a 21 year old African American male who is 6 feet tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He is known as 'Sinister' and 'Sin Williams.' If you locate him, do not approach him. Call the Bismarck Police at 701-223-1212. His picture is below.
