According to the Bismarck Tribune, Bismarck Police are investigating extensive graffiti vandalism to St. Mary’s Cemetery and Lord of Life Lutheran Church. The value of the damage is estimated at over $20,000.  Two church graveyards were vandalized:

The most extensive graffiti was found at St. Mary’s Cemetery located on North 23rd Street.

An unknown vandal or vandals used spray paint to vandalize statues, a decorative rock, trees, a gas meter, a sign, cemetery steps and the hood of an employee’s 2001 Dodge Ram.

Less than a mile away, at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church at 1143 N. 26th St., the church custodian there reported $500 in spray paint graffiti damage.

The Bismarck Police are asking for the public's help. If you have information about this case, you're asked to call CrimeStoppers line at 224-8477. There may be a cash reward.
