BNSF Upgrade Totals $220M in 2013

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — BNSF Railway says it made infrastructure upgrades totaling $220 million in 2013.

Spokeswoman Amy McBeth says the North Dakota portion is part of a $4.3 billion upgrade to its system in the U.S.

McBeth says the upgrades include maintaining and expanding facilities and adding to its locomotive fleet.
