NOTE: CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE - READER DISCRETION SUGGESTED

Bismarck's own Carson Wentz tweeted comments this week regarding the dire situation in Haiti - and many are speculating as to whether those comments are a response to recent comments by President Donald Trump.
The Fargo Forum reports Mr. Wentz tweeted the following on Friday: "Much love for the people of Haiti! They've been thru so much but it was incredible to see so much hope for them--even tho they've been stricken by so many natural disasters. Such a resilient nation & a place I'm passionate about. Definitely changed @jmattjmattjmatt and I forever!"
Earlier in the week the Washington Post said, "two people reported that President Trump grew frustrated with lawmakers who suggested restoring protections for immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador, and African countries on Thursday. He then asked “why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?”

It should be interesting to see how the local folks, who admire Carson as a hometown hero, but who also supported the sitting president by a sixty-forty margin in the 2016 election, will react.
