An acclaimed book about the history of nuclear weapons in America is now a documentary that's coming to Bismarck this weekend.
Based on the critically-acclaimed book by Eric Schlosser, Command and Control is the story of the management (and mismanagement) of America's nuclear arsenal, told against the backdrop of a deadly accident at a Titan II missile complex in Damascus, Arkansas in 1980.
Command and Control is co-written by Schlosser and directed by Oscar-nominated documentarian Robert Kenner. See the film Sunday 2PM at the Heritage Center in Bismarck. Admission is free.
