Devils Lake Schools Slash Sports Programs

Sadly, it seems to be a sign of the time.

The Devils Lake School Board announced Monday it has voted to eliminate three sports,as well as cheerleading, from the school athletics program.

An area radio station reports the board voted to cut girls' soccer, boys and girls golf, and cheerleading.  The board president said the decision was a difficult but necessary budgetary move.
