The topic of most conversations these days are about the confederate flag and race relations in this country. We decided to search to find the most racist state in the country. This list and comments could surprise you!

After doing research, this was the only list we could find with an actual ranking for the most and least racist states. This information was found on Top Tens.com. The interesting fact about this ranking is, the rankings are formed by public comment and votes from across the country, it's not scientific, it's based on regular people logging on and voting and listing comments. Some of the comments are rough and raw, it'll  be  interesting to get your feedback.  Here is the top 10.

  1. Mississippi
  2. Alabama
  3. Texas
  4. Tennessee
  5. Louisiana
  6. Georgia
  7. Kentucky
  8. Oklahoma
  9. Florida
  10. Missouri

If you agree or disagree, you can change this ranking by adding your comments and voting here.

North Dakota ranked at #33. Here are three of the comments from the NoDak listing-

The whole state is racist. We have a lot of kkk and white supremacists here. Grand Forks has been in the news (UND) specifically for sporting shirts with native Americans drinking out of a beer bong thing, with the words "Siouxper Drunk" on it in retaliation of the Natives trying to change the name "The Fighting Sioux. "
I lived in North Dakota my entire life up until a year ago. I am half Native American and half Norwegian. You really can not tell that I am Native American though because I have light skin.
I've worked in North Dakota for about 1 year now and I have to say these white people here are really ignorant. I've been disrespected and be told offensive racial slurs just because I'm a proud Hispanic man. This state has to get with the program and be tolerant to people different from them.
