Since Fargo is one of the country's most hungover cities, it should come as no surprise that's it's also one of the drunkest cities, as determined by a study recently released by 24/7 Wall St.

To come up with their lists of the drunkest and driest cities in the country, 24/7 Wall St. took a look at 'self-reported binge and heavy drinking rates among adults in United States metro areas' from various sources.

Fargo checked in at #5 on the list, behind four, count them FOUR, Wisconsin cities: Madison, Green Bay, Oshkosh, and Appleton. Wisconsin had seven cities in the top ten alone!

So, how did Fargo land so high on the list? Well, according to 24/7 Wall St., 25.2% of Fargo adults drink to excess, 29.5% of driving deaths involve alcohol, and 2.8 bars for every 10,000 residents.

Grand Forks also found themselves in the top 20, landing at #14, thanks to 23.7% of adults drinking excessively in the city.
