FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Technology is on tap in Fargo, as officials gather for an annual conference aimed at showcasing the impact technology has had on North Dakota industries and building on that success.

U.S. Sen. John Hoeven is hosting Tuesday's State of Technology conference along with the local Chamber of Commerce. Keynote speakers this year are Tami Reller, executive vice president of Microsoft's marketing group, and local entrepreneur Doug Burgum.

The conference also features two sessions devoted to how North Dakota's technological advancements are having an impact on the state's agriculture and energy industries.
