Fire was reported about 4 PM Thursday at the Ole Owl Building in downtown Harvey, North Dakota. Officials from the area say the fire was under control and just about out about 8:30PM.

Rick Jensen with KJND radio station tells Townsquare Media that approximately  six families lived in the apartment building. To his knowledge there were no injuries but he thinks a few pets were lost in the fire.

Jensen tells us that the fire department has the fire under control by 730PM.

The town is coming together to assist those that are displaced.

A  few local hotels are offering rooms to those in need.
