 ••Let’s “Rodeo!”  PRCA Championship Rodeo is in town.    It’s all on at the Bismarck Civic Center.   Steer wresting, bull riding, mutton-bustin’—non stop excitement, adventure and fun!  FRI & SAT nights at 730pm.  Tickets---$32/$24 with general admission $20 for adults and $10 for children.   

 

••Getting Married?  Don’t miss the “I Do” Bridal show on SUN from 12noon-4pm at the Bismarck Civic Center Exhibit Hall.  $10 at the door.   Lots of businesses that specialize in all aspects of weddings will be on hand.  Everything from photographers, to formal wear, limousine services, make up, music services.  Just about everything for your upcoming special day!

 

••27th Annual KFYR-TV Bowling Tournament is set for THIS SATURDAY & SUNDAY at Midway Lanes in Mandan.   Bowling starts Saturday afternoon, and continues with the finals on Sunday.  See some of the very best bowlers in the Dakotas battling it out for the big cash prizes!!!

 

••Come & See The Animals!  The Dakota Zoo is open on FRI-SAT and SUN from 1-5pm.  

••12th Annual Mother-Daughter Breakfast Celebration is ON Saturday from 930-11.  Presented by the Diocese of Bismarck Office of Family Ministry.  Featured speaker will be Miss North Dakota 2012.  It’s on at the Ramada Hotel in Bismarck(formerly the Doublewood Inn) right off I-94 at State Street.  $10. 

 

••Rummage sale for a cure to help fight Diabetes is on SAT from 9-3 at the Bismarck United Church of Christ, 1200 Highland Acres Road in Bismarck.   Proceeds go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. 

 

••8th Annual Junior Achievement Monopoly Tournament is on SATURDAY at Sunrise Elementary School.  Registration at 9am and play begins at 10am.   Prizes will be awarded for the different age categories.  $10 for adults and $7 for students.   Sunrise Elementary is at 3800 Nickerson Avenue in Bismarck.

 

••Like to play Pinochle?  Bismarck Eagles Auxillary has a Pinochle Card Party on SATURDAY, registration at 515p and play begins at 730pm.  $5 per person, Bismarck Eagles is at 313 North 26th Street.  

 

••It’s “Fairy Tales With the Bismark-Mandan Symphony” on SAT from 730-1030pm at the Belle.  All the music played will have it’s beginnings from a Fairy Tale.  Music from Rossini, Ravel, and Rimsky-Korsakov.   The Belle is downtown on North 6th Street.

 

••Menoken School Spaghetti Fundraiser is set for SUN from 4-7p at the Amvets.   It’s a rural school 11 miles east of Bismarck, the school is without a gym and would like to get some new equipment for the kids, and this is one of their fundraisers.  Amvets is at 2402 Railroad Avenue in Bismarck.

This psychological thriller starring Rooney Mara and (Channing Tatum) as a couple whose lives are shattered by a mysterious new prescription drug. Jude Law co-stars, along with Catherine zeta-Jones and Rooney Mara.
