Would allowing teachers to conceal and carry make the schools more safe? One state shool superintendent says more research is needed on the subject.

KX News reports a bill was introduced in the state legislature this week to allow teachers to conceal and carry, if passed and approved by the school board.

Dickinson Public School District's Superintendent Dr. Doug Sullivan says he doesn't know if it would make schools safer or not.

"I think it would be so important to study the issues. I have not seen any information about it and I haven't studied the impact that a law of this nature would have on school safety and I think that would be important for the school board and the administration to actually study it."
