The four-time NBA MVP addressed the growing tension at a charity event put on by hus foundation Tuesday night in Sandusky, Ohio in comments on the matter. Of most note is the fact he referred to Trump as "the so-called president."

James had already been vocal about Charlottesville, in a tweet he posted Tuesday afternoon, shortly before Trump doubled down on his comments about blaming multiple sides.

James' comments stand in stark contrast to those of NBA legend Rick Barry, who labeled the scrutiny Trump faces "a disgrace."
