With about three hours to spare, the North Dakota Legislature put the longest, and one of the most divisive, regular sessions in modern state history to bed shortly before sunrise Saturday.

Despite the usual round of self-congratulation from Gov. Jack Dalrymple among others, the session will be primarily remembered by many for the passage of a series of draconian anti-abortion measures.
