BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — About 30 North Dakota Army National Guard soldiers who spent nearly a year serving in Cuba are back on U.S. soil.

The soldiers with the 191st Military Police Company arrived in Fort Bliss, Texas, on Sunday afternoon. They'll go through the demobilization process there before returning to North Dakota.

The soldiers mobilized last October and arrived at the U.S. Navy base in Guantanamo Bay in November. They joined a larger force at the high-security prison there.
