GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Grand Forks County commissioners have selected a group to lead the development of a proposed tech park for unmanned aircraft systems.

Commissioners accepted a proposal from FDSL, a joint venture between FD Stonewater, a Washington, D.C., development firm, and Lynx, a Texas-based real-estate developer.

The two firms, which have worked together in the past, will help recruit tenants for Grand Sky, which is planned at the Grand Forks Air Force Base.

The Grand Forks Herald reports the Air Force indents to sign a 50-year lease with the county for the park, but says it would not do so until the county lined up a developer.
