There's still time to sign up for a fun night of history, chocolate, and beer at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum.

Thursday, July 14th, it's the "Night At the Museum: Chocolate & Beer." As part of the 'Chocolate: The Exhibition' programming at the State Museum, guests are invited to take part in the evening that begins at 6:30 p.m. when pre-registered guests can check out 'Chocolate: The Exhibition.' At 7 p.m., the evening continues with an education on "The History of Beer." The discussion will be led by Laughing Sun Brewery Co. co-owner Mike Frolich. Guests will also enjoy a flight of three beer samples from Laughing Sun:

  • 19th Amendment Chocolate Chokecherry Stout
  • Kite Flyer Mild
  • Strawberry Wheat

These beers will each be served with gourmet desserts and appetizers that are relatable to chocolate. Edgar Oliviera of the James River Café and his pastry chef Ashley Torgerson, graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu Institute, will prepare the gourmet food served.

Participants must be 21 and older. Pre-registration for the event is still available as the deadline is this coming Sunday. Tickets can be purchased for $20 using this link.
