North Dakota Highway Hall of Honor Adding New Inductees
Three new members will be inducted to the North Dakota Highway Hall of Honor in a ceremony on October 17, at the Radisson Hotel in Bismarck.
The three inductees are David K.O. Leer, David Sprynczynatyk and Melvin J. Bullinger. Bullinger, who happens to be the city engineer of Bismarck, has helped to head several transportation improvements throughout the city, including Bismarck Expressway, Liberty Memorial Bridge replacement, Century Avenue, State Street, Main Avenue renovation and the reconstruction of North Washington Street.
Sprynczynatyk, a former director of NDDOT, helped oversee several major projects during his tenure, including the replacement of the Four Bears Bridge, improvements on U.S. Highway 2 from Minot to Williston, helped in the design of the Liberty Memorial Bridge, as well as the relocation project of U.S. Highway 281 in the Devils Lake Basin.
Leer is known in NDDOT as a leader and innovator, always creating new ideas.
