Fellow North Dakotans, your state is more fun than you know.

For the second straight year, North Dakota comes in ranked as the 4th most fun state in America, according to a recent study done by our friends at WalletHub.

Our state ranks 5th in the U.S. in Most Movie Theatres per Capita, 2nd in Most Golf Courses and Country Clubs per Capita, tied for 1st in Highest State and Local Expenditures on Parks and Recreation per Capita, 5th in overall Nightlife rank and 9th in overall Entertainment and Recreation rank.

Other such factors that helped North Dakota earn its ranking include number of attractions, access to national parks, and variety of arts, entertainment, and recreation establishments (which helped out the high 'overall Entertainment and Recreation rank).

Nevada, South Dakota, and Colorado finished ahead of North Dakota, in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively. The bottom three were Alabama, West Virginia, and Mississippi finishing last. So next time you find yourself thinking, "There's nothing fun to do here," just be glad you're not in Mississippi.
