As summer approaches and teenagers start to get their drivers license, WalletHub recently published the best and worst states for teenage drivers. North Dakota is at the bottom of that list or one of the worst states for teenage drivers.

Drivers between the ages of 15 and 24 years old make up about 14% of all drivers on the road, they also account for a third of all costs resulting from motor vehicle injuries.

WalletHub  analyzed the teen-driving in all 50 states across 16 metrics. Thier data set ranges from the number of teen driver fatalities to the average cost of car repairs to the presence of impaired-driving laws

In the survey, North Dakota ranked 48th out of 50 states. The two worst states after NoDak are Montana at 49 and South Dakota at 50.
