North Dakota State Senator Draws Fire For Nazi/Gay Slur

An arch-conservative in the State Senate is getting flack for posting an image of a swastika in connection with comments about the LGBT community.
Sen. Janne Myrdal reposted a column on her Facebook page that was critical of the LGBT community. The article featured a gay-rights flag with the Nazi Cross superimposed over it.
Sen. Myrdal has since deleted the image and posted a statement that she was unaware the images was attached to the story.
She added, "As a daughter of a family that suffered under the said image, I deplore this image and I would never post this image on purpose."
