Authorities say the preliminary autopsy results show that Savanna Greywind died by violent means.  Investigators, including Fargo police say the Fargo woman, who disappeared while eight months pregnant, apparently died from “homicidal violence.”

The Fargo Forum and WDAY-TV say no other information about the autopsy could be released because, in the words of the Fargo police, "it would compromise the investigation."

“Many of the facts of this case won’t be known to the media or the public until released at the trial,” said the deputy chief of the Fargo PD.

Police say the 22-year-old’s body was found in the Red River eight days after she went missing. Her autopsy is being conducted by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office in St. Paul because, according to authorities, the body was recovered on the Minnesota side of the river.

Two suspects in the woman's disappearance and death, Brooke Crews and William Hoehn, were formally charged Monday with conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, and providing false information to police.
