Harrisburg High School in South Dakota is on lockdown after a shooting was reported Wednesday (9/30) morning.

Harrisburg High School is located roughly 10 miles south of Sioux Falls. Superintendent James Holbeck has announced that the principal suffered a flesh wound to the arm.

Authorities have confirmed that one shot was fired and that the suspect is in custody. The students are safe but parents are currently being told to stay away from the high school.
