The Bismarck-Mandan area is pretty great. There are fantastic restaurants, places to hang out and it is a great region to show off to friends and family who may live elsewhere.

But as humans, we always want more. So let's take a look at some businesses that the Bismarck-Mandan area could really use.

    Dunkin Donuts

You likely already have your place in town that has your favorite coffee. Lots of places serve good coffee. But Dunkin Donuts serves GOOD coffee.

But of course, "coffee" isn't mentioned in the title of the business. The one thing Dunkin Donuts does really well is Donuts (doughnuts). Do you know what a munchkin is? Munchkins are essentially just doughnut holes. And if you think all doughnut holes are the same, you only think that because you have never had a Munchkin.

    Chick-Fil-A

Chick-Fil-A's motto is, 'Eat More Chikin' and if there was a Chick-Fil-A in the area, you most certainly would. Whether it is their nuggets, their fried chicken sandwiches or grilled chicken sandwiches, you can't go wrong.

These sandwiches are simple. It is delicious chicken with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. But maybe the one thing that really brings the meal together are the waffle fries. Their waffle fries are to die for.

    Dave & Buster's

Dave and Buster's has the perfect slogan: 'Eat. Drink. Play.'

That's exactly what they are. It is a place to play arcade games, eat great food and drink alcohol.

Dave and Buster's proves that you can't be too old to go to an arcade. And of course you can get tickets and exchange them for prizes. After hours of game play, you can still walk away with a bouncy ball for your nephew. Can't beat that.

    Outback Steakhouse

Alright, I'll be honest with you. When it comes to food and atmosphere, Texas Roadhouse is far superior. But here's the thing. Outback still has fantastic food, plus they have their famous Bloomin Onion which on its own makes the entire restaurant chain worthy of this list. Texas Roadhouse and other places have an Onion Blossom of their own. But the Bloomin Onion is far superior to any fried onion you will eat anywhere.

On top of that, it seems Outback is constantly coming up with an excuse to give away their Bloomin Onion for free. They have promotions all the time where you can get a free Bloomin Onion. It's better than winning the lottery and much more likely to happen too!

    The Cheesecake Factory

The Cheesecake factory does two things amazingly well. First, of course, is cheesecake. Well, duh. It's in the name. That's not surprising.

What is surprising is that their menu is essentially a book. This thing is big and has a ton of items in it. Usually when restaurants have a large menu, that is a bad sign. You'll notice upscale restaurants have a limited menu because they know what they can do well and focus solely on those items. Restaurants such as diners have large menus and all the food is just OK because they are making so much.

Somehow the Cheesecake Factory has an insanely large menu and every item is delicious.

    Top Golf

If you don't like golf, it doesn't matter. Top Golf is a driving range but it is not really a place to go and try and improve your swing. It is just a place you go to hang out and have fun. It's like a bowling alley for golf. You don't go to a bowling alley to practice your bowling. You go to just do something fun, maybe have some appetizers and throw down a few drinks.

This is what Top Golf is. It is a driving range with food and drinks and most of their customers don't even really play golf. But I imagine if you do like golf, you would still have a good time here. Plus you'll feel far superior to those around you.
