In North Dakota, it can get pretty cold. But the coldest temperature ever recorded was on Feb. 15, 1936.

On this day in Parshall, the the temperature dropped to 60 degrees below zero. And of course in this instance we are talking about the actual temperature and not factoring in the windchill.

Parshall is in Mountrail County and is the birth place of current NDSU QB coach Randy Hedberg.
