Three Dead After Shooting at Kansas Jewish Center [VIDEO]
Authorities in Overland Park, Kansas say three people are dead following shootings Sunday at a local Jewish community center and retirement home.
The Kansas City Star reports a 70 year-old man is in custody in connection with the shootings. The man reportedly smiled and made anti-Semitic remarks as he was driven away.
Two of the victims were a teenage boy and his grandfather. Hundreds of children and teenagers were present at the community center taking part in an American Idol-like talent contest.
The Jewish Community Center issued a statement expressing condolences for friends and family of the victims and thanking the community for their support.
