The looming threat of a tornado forced the interruption of a newscast  during the weekend's Midwestern twister outbreak.

WEEK-TV Meteorologists Chuck Collins and Sandy Gallant were live in studio Sunday when they heard the rumble of an approaching twister.

Advising viewers to take cover, the weathercasters did so as well, abandoning the newsroom for several minutes.  They returned uninjured after the storm has passed; the building suffered slight damage.
