It was a defensive masterpiece.

The Minnesota Vikings crushed the Detroit Lions today 24-9  led by a front seven that sacked Matthew Stafford 10 times.

Matthew Stafford looked lost after losing go-to receiver Golden Tate in a trade with the Philidelphia Eagles earlier this week.  He was 25/36 for a pedestrian 199 for the game.

For the Vikings, the Running game looked good with Dalvin Cook picking up 89 yards on 10 carries, and it was receiver by committee with Laquon Treadwell leading in yards with 37.

Latavious Murray added 31 yards and a touch down that could've gone the other way. It was scary when he fumbled going into the end zone, but luckily, Minnesota covered it for the touchdown.  Sometimes the ball just bounces your way.

Overall, a great team effort but an awesome defensive showing for a team that looks like it's putting everything together at the right time.
