Volunteers Begin Post-Riot Cleanup in Missouri Town
Volunteers dispersed around the city of Ferguson, Missouri Wednesday to clean up debris in the wake of a weekend race riot in the St. Louis suburb.
KMOX Radio reports the violence stemmed from the August 9th shooting death of Michael Brown, an eighteen year-old African American, by a local policeman.
Rioting and looting began over the weekend. As recently as late Tuesday a woman was wounded in a drive-by shooting.
The FBI has opened an investigation into the violence.
