When It Comes To Drinking, NoDak Ranks Up There! Another Round Please!

According to Yahoo.com, North Dakota is one of the booziest states in the nation!

Not only do we like our brews, we also seem to like any type of alcohol. After all, we do have these long drawn out winters.

Here is the methodology, Movoto.com- they turned to the data, churning out spreadsheet after boozy spreadsheet to tabulate 10 alco-criteria — from per-capita craft breweries to last-call hours — on which all states in the Land of the Free would be measured.

In general, the Midwest is a boozy section of the country. Some of the top states include Alaska, Montana, Vermont and Connecticut. The number one booze state is Oregon!

North Dakota ranks high on the list.  NoDak comes in at #11 and according to the story-Standout stat: 1 bar per 1,621 residents, and  not only does NoDak dominate in bars-per-drinker, but it also landed third overall for gallons consumed. More mind-blowing: the Beer Institute Association indicates that NoDak residents drink just over a pint of beer a day on average.

Is this something to be proud of?
