The atmosphere was tense and confrontational in Leith on Sunday, as protesters turned out to make their displeasure known with the presence of white supremacists.

Two protesters were hauled out and others walked out of the Leith City Hall, where Jeff Schoep of the self-described National Socialist movement addressed a town hall meeting.

Protesters, including a veteran and Plains Indians chanted during the meeting.  Uniformed police were present throughout the city.
