The National Weather Service in Bismarck is issuing a Winter Weather Advisory for Friday night into Saturday evening. The forecast for that duration includes accumulating snow.

The Winter Weather Advisory will go from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 p.m. on Saturday. The forecast is calling for rain changing over to snow on Friday night and possibly heavy snow through the early Saturday morning hours.

Based on the map in the tweet above, the NWS is predicting 3 to 4 inches of snow for the Bismarck region. Some western and northern portions of the state are predicted as to get 4 to 6 inches of snow, which could lead to rough traveling conditions on the roads.

The forecast for Sunday is mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. Then, on Monday, there's another chance for precipitation in the form of rain and/or snow with a high of 42 during the day, but dipping down to a low of 28 on Monday night.
