BisMan – Do You Play Nice With The Shopping Carts? ( GALLERY )
I don't really remember the exact moment I began to pay attention to the cart protocol at store parking lots
I mean, after all, this SHOULD be a simple unwritten, unsaid set of easy rules of what to do when you are done shopping, and you successfully took the groceries out of your cart and into your car. Ok, now a quick decision, what to do with the cart? Most of us will take the extra few seconds to steer our faithful cart into the open stall - or some refer to it as a corral. I actually took a couple of minutes out of my day to go out and witness for myself if people were playing nice with the shopping carts.
I was impressed within just a few minutes
I have to admit, I was expecting the parking lot of the store that I visited to be left with several lonely carts off to the side, obviously abandoned quickly by lazy customers. I did see a half-rear end attempt to deposit the cart, as they BLOCKED entry to others:
Within another few seconds, the employee ( in charge of the parking lot I guess ) swept in and took this and the one at the end onto a nice warm holding area just inside the store - the cart barn:
I applauded his attention to detail and took a second to gaze at all the carts safe and sound, all in a row, waiting for another customer to take it for a spin.
NOW, be honest...
I don't need to know your name, are you the person who just pushes it off to the side with no concern for the cart's feelings?
Well, I forgive you, but let's all do better!
