In North Dakota people love to hunt. And if an outsider feels it's offensive, North Dakotans get on the defensive.

This situation played out with Carson Wentz on Twitter. It started with Wentz sending out a birthday tweet to one of his dogs. In the birthday tweet, it showed his dog, Henley, standing over a large swath of dead geese from a previous hunting trip in Arkansas.

In the tweet, Wentz wrote:

Happy 5th Birthday to Mama Henley! We’ve been through a lot in 5 years. Best dog and hunting buddy I could ask for!

One Twitter user issued a response to the tweet:

Wentz didn't care for 'Steve Beef's' take on the matter.

Yea, Steve! Mind your own business and let Wentz do all the hunting he wants and post whatever pictures he wants.

Wentz does not have a reputation of 'owning' people on Twitter, but he started out 2018 doing just that.
