The mysterious word tweeted by President Trump isn't going away anytime soon. You could soon see COVFEFE driving down the road in North Dakota.

It's the word that'll make you want to sprint to the front of the DMV line for. In at least 21 states, drivers have claimed "COVFEFE" for their vanity plates.

Despite the fact that no one knows what the word means, people are acting fast to claim it for their own vehicle. It seems the first to get it was a man from California. His daughter's tweet about it received 20,000 retweets and over 96,000 likes at this point.

Another man from Nebraska saw the tweet when it happened around 4 a.m. CST, then quickly went to the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles website to make the purchase.

In states where "COVFEFE" has been claimed, alternate spellings are being claimed, such as "covf3fe", "covfef3", "covf3f3", and "c0vf3f3". It really is the license plate that's sweeping the nation.

As of yesterday, the plate is not only available in North Dakota, but also New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

If you happen to see "COVFEFE" on the road in the near future, be sure to acknowledge them in the most covfefe way possible.
