The company that built the Dakota Access Pipeline has reportedly spilled more than 2 million gallons of drilling fluid while building a Pipeline in Ohio.
KX News reports about 2 million gallons of the lubricant bentonite spilled during drilling south of Cleveland.
There was another spill next day, northeast of Columbus, Ohio.
While the mud is non-toxic it can smother wildlife, fish and invertibrates.
The EPA says they will consider fines and penalties against Energy Transfer Partners after cleanup is complete.
