Dog Missing for Two Weeks after North Dakota Crash Returned Home with the Help of a Meatball [WATCH]

Home for the holidays! This story has a happy ending! A dog is returned home after a crash on I94, just outside of Fargo after being lured with a meatball. Tracy was missing for 2 weeks.

The dog's owner was involved is a severe car accident when he ran off scared.  Philip Maxwell was driving with his two dogs Dec. 7 when he lost control on the icy road and rolled his car. One of his pooches, Jake, a small pinscher, stayed near the crash, but Tracy the German Shepherd ran off scared.

According to reports, on Saturday, a man who lives about two miles from the crash site saw Tracy out his window, so he took a meatball from his lunch and threw it toward the dog and Tracy munched it up! Then he lured the dog with more food into his garage.

It seems Tracy is healthy and will be reunited with Jake at vet hospital and the two will be reunited with the out of state family for the holiday!
