Early Morning Fire Displaced Family and Dog in Mandan

An early morning fire in Mandan Wednesday morning (Aug. 24) displaced a family and the family dog.

The fire took place at a home on the 1500 block of 9th Avenue SE. The call came in about 5 a.m.

The Red Cross is providing assistance to the family with hotel accommodations. There were not reports of injury or the cause of the fire.

The investigations is continuing.
