Fargo Construction Worker Buried In A Trench

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say a construction worker who was buried up to his shoulders in a trench in Fargo is not believed to have suffered serious injuries.

The man was working in a trench 16 feet deep when the incident happened Wednesday morning. Other workers had dug him out by the time emergency officials arrived. He was taken to a hospital to be checked out.

Authorities did not immediately identify the man.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will be investigating what happened.
