Mandan Chief of Police Jason Ziegler held a brief press conference Tuesday morning to give an update on the investigation into what Mandan police are calling a multiple homicide that occurred Monday at RJR Maintenance and Management.

While Ziegler declined to comment on several details regarding the on going investigation, police have released the names of the victims. RJR owner Robert Fakler, 52, was among the victims identified by police, as were RJR  employees Adam Fuehrer, 42, Lois Cobb, 45, and William Cobb, 50.

Ziegler said police have yet to identify a suspect, but they are currently in the process of  review surveillance footage from cameras that were located inside the RJR building and from surrounding businesses.

Ziegler also reiterated that despite the perpetrator remaining at large, he does not believe the public to be in any danger.

"The investigation so far leads us to believe this incident was specific to the victims involved," Ziegler said.

Police are asking community members to contact police at 701-667-3250 or use the tip line at mandanpd.com if they have video surveillance from the area or if they have seen or heard anything suspicious that could be related to the case.
